Search button irresponsive

Expected behavior
I expected that when I click the search button to search for a known user it should bring a list of names related to the search word
Actual behavior
When I press the search button repeatedly to search after inputting my searchword it was not responding,untill I erased a letter and input it back and click search again before it responded
How to reproduce
1.Login to esteem app
2.click the search icon and input a search word (a known user)
3.change the tag to "user"
4.click to search it does not respond, then
5.erase a letter and input it back and click search ,it now responds.
Browser/App version:esteemApp 1.6.0
Operating system: Android 6.0

Hi @samostically, thanks for reporting this observation.
While I could replicate this, it is not entirely a bug. I could still perform a search operation in two ways:
One - selecting user in the drop down menu before typing the search term. Two, by editing the search phrase, then clicking search. The function would have to be useless or not returning the search results as is expected for it to be considered buggy.
