A steemit meet up is an event in which the long standing people on the steemit platform meet with minnows and prospective steemians. They talk to them about the platform and encourage them to be a part of the revolution.

Meet ups are for evangelism and networking. They are important part of the steemit development. Many people have positive content but they are ignorant of such a platform like steemit.

Steemit evangelism has played a critical role in the expansion of the steemit platform. I am a living testimony to that, I only joined steemit when a friend of mine @riski46 told me about it.

The meetup evangelism has been very effective as seen in increase in post, comments and payout to authors.

Meetups have an average of 90 people attending, that's a good number of potential steemians

6. CONCLUSION

Statistics has proven that meetups have improved and increased the #indonesiapopulation on Steemit. Indonesia has a population of About 20.000 Million people, that is a huge potential market for steemit.

The future is bringht for #indonesia with its users making wave and impact on the platform. I foresee an ever increasing population on steemit

As at January 2018, there were more than 8000 accounts with location (Indonesia) in their profile settings. This is set to increase as more meetups are planned and scheduled to invade all corners of the country.
