Vaping Tips #3
Hi steemians and vapers and welcome in the third blog about vaping tips! Today we ewill talk about a famouse practice and a style of vaping!
Cloud Chasing
The evolution of the E-cig method of smoking versus passion. What is and how it works ... The vaping world has evolved in recent years to lead to a natural evolution of the classic vaping, the "Cloud Chasing" which is literally interpreted as "cloud production". Behind this typology vape and vapers there is a whole world that has created a real culture that we will now analyze. For those approaching the vaping or those who have recently approached the network shoot videos and images of Cloud Chaser (so they call those who do Cloud Chasing) fierce intent to make the biggest cloud maybe during a competition. But the thing that everyone wonders is how do they produce so much steam with just one shot?
Well behind all this there is a culture and particular dynamics. We will find out how they are done and how much danger or risk there is. Basically to do Cloud Chasing it takes knowledge that goes beyond the classic vape but to talk about Hardware it is right to know that:
- Mechanical tubes / mechanical boxes are preferred for cloud chasing (this does not mean that you can not generate a large steam with electronic boxes but certainly the mechanic always has its predominance in the races and tournaments where sometimes it is alsoprohibited the use of electronic devices to prevent the alteration of some parameters)
- Suitable atomisers are needed (in most cases dripping atoms)
- It is necessary to know the different units of measurement, because the cloud chasing presupposes a very low resistance but it has hist strengths and weaknesses.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO UNDERLINE THAT YOU CAN NOT DO CLOUD CHASING IN EVERYDAY EMPLOYMENT.
In fact, "cloud chasing" is an agonistic discipline in which more people challenge each other in choreographies that are voted and evaluated.
They are made by experienced professionals with special equipment with very strong settings, not suitable for daily vaping (also because going to very low resistance to generate much steam have too high battery consumption for normal and continued use).
Structurally, it is also important to underline how the term "Liquids for cloud chasing" is increasingly seen, but in fact there are no specific aromas or liquids since the "professional" competitions are made with neutral zero-nicotine bases, to prevent the "tingling" of the mint or melon or added nicotine may annoy the cloud chaser during choreography.
Discipline that must be implemented with high technical skills, excellent knowledge of the hardware and very particular setup is not cloud chasing with 18650 batteries but with 26650, suitable to be able to provide amperages in greater discharge in continuity without destabilizing creating risks to 'safety 'user.
Cloud chasing always remains the desire to make larger and denser clouds, it is also true that specific liquids (aromatized or neutral) exist, because a liquid (e-liquid) 100% VG will make certainly more vapor than a 50/50 or a 100% PG.
The Cloud is still a beautiful discipline but to be done safely always using appropriate "DEVICE" and compare it with other Chasers.

Thank you for sharing. i prefer mtl. Here is my vt75 nano with naitulus2.
I prefer mtl to, i am a big tobacco smoker!
Lorenzo thank you for sharing , here is my wisemec with an avocado tank. Suits me well 😁😎. When you said "IT IS IMPORTANT TO UNDERLINE THAT YOU CAN NOT DO CLOUD CHASING IN EVERYDAY EMPLOYMENT." It made me think of when i was almost fired from work from vaping at my desk 😂😂. It was very new and i truly didnt know better lol. Have a nice day and Vape On!!
Thank you very much, dont worry you are not the only one that made big clouds at work :D.
Have a nice day to!
Haha i love it 😇😁
Nice blog bro thanks for info
thank you!
With the right mod you can fire just as well as you can with a mech. I like triple 18650 DNA200/250 devices - they have better safety than mechs but can fire large coil setups just as well and use great temp control on stainless steel coils.
If temperature control isn't as important for you, any of the triple 18650 Reuleaux mods are good for having good margins for safety and great battery life :)
I don't have a problem with mechs, and they are certainly more compact (the Noisy Cricket looked like a fantastic little dual 18650 mech and could be used in series or parralell), I didn't really see what I'd get above and beyond what my other mods were doing for me and in the end I didn't think it was worth dropping the safety protections.
If you do go down the mech route - make sure you know ohms law, make sure you're using high quality batteries and make sure you stay within the limits of the cells you choose.
That's right my friend! Thank you!
Hmm, so the whole culture was born from anti smoking devices... Honestly I didn't know this... Well I learned something new now.
