🔞🚭The Components Of Your Vape System🚭🔞

in #vaping3 years ago (edited)

Hey there, i am Gemini and today i sit with you all explaining how a electronic cigarette is composed.

When vaping for the first time, it is highly unlikely that the vast majority of people take the time to find out exactly what a vape is and what different components make up these handy little devices.
There are many different devices available, but most e-cigs consist of essentially the same parts:

- The Tank

This is the part where the e-liquid and resistances(coils) are kept.

Example: 24mm diameter tank

They can have different shape and diameters,
and they are usually made of these parts:

  • A Mouthpiece(or DripTip, that goes into your mouth)
  • A Chimney(where the steam goes through)
  • The Tank(where you put inside coils, and e-juice throught a refill hole, leakproof)
  • Air Control Ring(by this you can adjust the airflow of your puffs)
  • A 510 Screw(to put the tank on your battery to work)

- Resistance (Coil)

This is the part that vaporize the e-liquid.
Like before, there are different kind of coils:

  • Prefact Coils
These kind of coils are pre-built by the device companies and are usually proprietary, they last a quantity of milliliters of e-juice then they are to be replaced with another new one.
Inside there is a little metal wire surrounded by some cotton(while activating your battery it heat your e-juice to steam to inhale)

    Example of a prebuilt coil

  • DIY Coils
There are systems that allow you to make your own kind of resistance, named "Rebuildable Atomizer",
but i will talk more specifically about them in another post, so stay focused😉

    Example of DIY Coil

-The Battery

Again, batteries comes with different shapes, appearance and weight.
Aesthetics is completely subjective, it goes to personal taste and self comfort.
The batteries can either be activated by a button or automatically when you inhale through the mouthpiece, it depends of the system you will choose, some can have a little lcd screen with some options that help you find your best way to puffs and yet they can have an integrated battery or an external battery(both rechargeable)to put inside.

For example this is that i'm using the most until now

The place where screw on the atomizer
The screen with his parameters shown

-In Conclusion

Hopefully, you will now know a little bit more about the different components that make up your vape. It is fair to say that once you know what these components are and why they are essential, it is actually quite easy to understand how a standard vape works.
There's more to say yet, but i will deepen in next posts🧐
