Vegan chickpea curry with chapati.
hi everyone this is a easy and delicious recipe.
for the curry:
1 tin chickpeas
1 medium or 2 small onion chopped
2 tomatoes chopped
3-4 green chillis ( I like it spicey) chopped
1 section of a clove fresh garlic chopped
fresh ginger the same amount of fresh ginger as garlic chopped
1 tsp hole cumin
1 tsp hole coriander seeds
fresh coriander leaves
oil for frying
for the chapati bread :
1 cup of chapati flour
enough warm water to make a dough.
Start by frying the onion, ginger, cumin and coriander together after a few minutes add the garlic.
Fry these together till the onions are golden brown.
then add the tomatoes and chilli cook till tomatoes are dissoveld then add the chickpeas cook for about 25 minutes adding a little water as needed.
take off the heat after cooking. then add the fresh chopped coriander,
Leave anouther 10min.
in the meanwhile take your dough ball from the chipati flour roll it out flat till you get a thin piece of dough .
cook it in a pan over the stove or like i do in the photos with a mini oven.
