Applesauce cake ๐ ๐
A delicious and quickly prepared cake, it is also ideal as a basis for a flan, but also eaten alone, dusted with some powdered sugar, it tastes wonderful ๐
Ingredients:
- 240 g of flour
- 30 g of grated nuts (walnuts, hazelnuts or almonds, which you like)
- 130 g of sugar or xylitol
- a little vanilla extract
- 35 g butter vegan
- 250 g applesauce
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 teaspoon soda
- abrasion of an organic lemon
Preparation:
Melt the butter and allow to cool slightly.
Sift the flour into a mixing bowl, add the sugar, salt, baking powder, nuts, lemon zest and soda and stir with a spoon until the ingredients are evenly mixed.
Now the applesauce, the vanilla extract and the cooled butter (it may be lukewarm, but NOT hot) are added and stirred only until a uniform dough is formed.
Pour the dough into a baking tin ร 24 cm covered with baking paper and smooth it out and bake at 180 ยฐ C for approx. 35 minutes. Then allow to cool slightly and tumble out of shape.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy ๐

Hi!! Delicious from the first image. Not only did you make a cake but the presentation is very provocative. Thank you for sharing this recipe that seems very simple. One question: is there a difference between normal butter and vegan butter? Is there a change in taste if one or the other is used? A big hello @proanima
Thank you @marcybetancourt, I am glad that you like it, I have not eaten butter for a long time, but as far as I can remember, the difference is very small.
Beautiful!
I love this step by step cake making.
I understood very well.
Thank you for sharing this recipe.

hey dear @proanima, I absolutely love the apple pies :-)) it's the first cake I learned to make when I was little and I wanted to help my mom! maybe you should have put a link on how to make the apple sauce you put in the cake. your presentation, however, is perfect with great photos !! congratulations all the best for you
Thank you @road2horizon, i am glad that you like it :D
Here I have an apple sauce recipe for you:
You need to
2 kg of organic apples
200 ml of water
the juice of half an organic lemon
Clove spice and cinnamon stick to taste
preparation
Peel and core the apples. You can also process the apples unpeeled. Not only do you avoid waste, but your mus will also be healthier. Under the shell are most of the vitamins and minerals. Cut them into small pieces.
Put the apples in a pot together with the water. You can also add the juice of half a lemon so that the applesauce does not turn dark.
Now bring everything to a boil and let the apples simmer for 20 minutes over low to medium heat.
Now you can either roughly crush the apples, then you have homemade apple compote. Or you purรฉe them into a puree. If you like it a bit creamier, you can drain some of the water beforehand.
Fill the applesauce in sterilized (!!) preserving jars, close them immediately airtight and let them cool upside down.
I hope I could help you with this recipe :)
you are so kind for writing me your recipe for sauce! I'm greedy for apples, I'll do it for sure :-)) thanks a lot and continue with your recipes
I liked to do it ;)
