Welcome to week #9 of the Vegans of Steemit Newsletter! Let's see what happened in the vegan & veggie community these past days and catch up with some of the best posts out there!

The goal of this Newsletter is to showcase the most interesting publications from our vegan Steemit community during the week, and introduce new members worth checking out. We also feature a Q&A section at the end of the newsletter, in which non-vegans can ask anything they need to know about veganism and how to get there. Help us spread the vegan love!

• Let's start with some great news from Norway, where fur-farming will be banned completely by 2025, thanks to the work of dedicated activists and animal rights group who fought for what's right, by @umulius:

• What will be your legacy to the world? is a great question asked by @moonunit. It's something all of us should be asking ourselves, regardless of our lifestyle. Luckily vegans already know the answer to that, and hopefully our movement will grow exponentially in the near future:

Many people believe that vegans don't have a lot of food choices, but they are wrong! The purpose of this section is to portray just how many different delicious meal recipes there are to choose from, the options are endless! Each week, we'll show you at least three different recipes, one for breakfast, lunch / dinner, as well as some mouth watering desserts.

• @amy-goodrich never disappoints with her recipes, and this time she shares a very quick and simple Indian dish with us:

• @ambrosiacafe is taking it a notch further today, because she spoils us with not just one, but 6 recipes in her fabulous post! If you're lacking inspiration in the kitchen department, you should definitely check her out:

• Do you miss beef stew from your previous life? Well you don't have to anymore! @gguy773 is giving us the perfect plant based alternative in detailed steps and with amazing photos:

• Today, I'd like to introduce you to @msjsch who just recently joined the platform. She's originally from Switzerland, blogs in English and German, and happens to be vegan. She's also quite knowledgeable about nutrition, and we're looking forward to reading more of her content. Let's greet her in the meantime:

• Another new vegan member of Steemit is @thegodhimself who is challenging himself to gain weight and get healthier on a vegan diet. He's brand new on Steemit and doesn't have any connections yet, so let's give him a warm welcome to our community:

• And last but not least I would like to give a big shout-out to @waybeyondpadthai who is giving us a glimpse of the Jeh (vegan) festival in Thailand. This is amazing, and I wish every country would invite their people to eat vegan for 10 days. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!
