Oh boy it takes a lot of work. Usually I have a whole year to prepare /Create things to sell. This last year was a little different. I was taking care of my middle son who had cancer. The most important thing!

I had since March till now to make stuff. What do you make you ask? Well I am in love with Dragons. I needle felt dragons and mount there heads on a wooden plaque. You could sit and meditate and connect with the dragon if ya want. They all have great insight. That's not all I also love owls, Gnomes, all kind of fantasy creatures. I make jewelry, I sew costumes, and me.jpgI paint. Here is my facebook page to see what I'm working on. https://www.facebook.com/DREAMGARDEN.MELISSASUE/

I also have an Etsy shop. Which doesn't have anything in it because of the festival.

So these are the things I do to get ready to vend at a festival.

  1. How much space is provided?
  2. Will there be access to electrical outlets?
  3. Is there a nearby ATM?
  4. Is the event rain or shine? In Oregon prepare for both!
  5. How many vendors will there be?
  6. Make a list!! (Super important)
~What all will you need, write it down you will forget!
~Make an inventory of what your selling with the prices.
~Make sure you bring you cords to charge your phone or ipad
~Your square/card reader for those credit cards!
~Extra pens and paper. Clear tape, duct tape, Clothes pins, Zip ties and safety pins
~Tie downs or weights for the booth.
    ~Table cloths, tapestries, signage
~Change all kinds of small bills.
    ~Snacks, and lots of Water!

Breathe you've got this!!
If you can try to get out of the house early. I like to bring crystals and set them in the booth for fushigi magic! It really works. It keeps the energy really nice, plus I think it aided in sales :)
