Here is a Teaser For Our New Video Series "People Power"

in #video7 years ago (edited)

Our new video series People Power, which we are producing to explain and promote the Internet of People, will go online tomorrow. Here is a short teaser:

The teaser mainly consists of the opening title sequence, which will start each show. Creating a title sequence is an interesting challenge. On the one hand, you want to convey the general message of the show in a few seconds.

In this case, we contrasted the centralised Internet of today with a decentralised, peer-to-peer version of it. That's what the Internet of People is all about. Of course we exaggerated a bit and portrayed the centralised Internet as dark and evil, whereas the IoP is all fun and funky party.

On the other hand an opening title sequence will be shown so often that it needs to be rich, so that people have something new to discover each time they watch it - and we hope this series will run for a long time!

We therefore worked with many photographs of real people to visualise the IoP. Each time you watch the clip, you can focus on a different face. Some of them are developers, marketeers and other activists who work on the IoP. But most of them are Facebook friends of mine who gave us the permission to use their picture. Thanks to everybody for this!

The music was created by Julio Kladniew from Buenos Aires. The animation was made by Tomek Wilk from Warsaw, based on my concept. I hope that you enjoy this short teaser and will watch the show tomorrow!

Exciting waiting for it

What is People Power? Is it Steemit?
Is it a competitor?

It is a regular video show, not a competitor to Steemit. If you want to know more about the "Internet of People", watch the show which will start tomorrow.

Upvote your post. Hopefully what I do you will also do in my post, best regards steemit always.

Viewing the post on busy.org all I saw was the video teaser in the post when I was scrolling. Now imagine if you just saw that horrible teaser without seeing any of the supporting content. I was sitting here sipping my tea like wtf.
