A police officer in the Philippines has killed an elderly woman and her protective son in cold blood, Singapore reported Monday. Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, an iron-fisted crime-fighter, also feels too harsh.

"I don't think you will get away with the rigour of justice because it was filmed," Duterte told a televised cabinet meeting on Tuesday night. Even I was stunned... It's so unfair and cruel."

The video, which has gone viral, shows Jonel Nuezca, a 46-year-old police officer, shooting Ms. Sonya Gregorio, 52, and her 25-year-old son, Frank Gregorio, at point-blank range on Sunday afternoon in the town of Paniki, in The province of Talak.
