11-Year-Old's Haunting Rendition Of 'Sound Of Silence' Is Leaving The Internet In Chills

in #video8 years ago

Many artists have taken on this classic song, but Jadyn Rylee's cover is one that's making jaws drop. Since she was six years old, she has been stunning audiences, now she has ventured into the realm of all-time classics, and she is not here to disappoint. Simon and Garfunkel's 'The Sound of Silence" is a job that's not too big for this amazing young singer. And the huge vocal range in this song? Just wait until you hear her nail it!

Even at 11-years-old, Jadyn was trying to relay the emotion that this song expresses, and according to Jadyn, it's the emotion behind the song that is the important message. You don't have to be an adult to understand how to effectively get a message out there. Jaydn has had plenty of experience performing for an audience, which is probably why she seems like such a natural in the recording studio.

More than anything else, Jadyn loves to sing for people. It's all about the exchange of giving her own talent to people, and then seeing how it can positively affect them in return. She plans on continuing to sing and grows her fan base through her popular YouTube channel. This girl knows how to get her name out there and show off her incredible talent and passion. You will not be disappointed with this cover of such a classic song!

Nice!!! I'm not a robot, and that was good!

I am not a robot either and I approve of this video.

A serious song for a serious talent.

What's amazing to me with this rendition is the fact that I found myself listening more to the words than I had ever done before. I don't know how many times I've heard the Simon & Garfunkel version over the years, but never really listened to the words. Truly this is one of the best versions I've ever heard.

I agree, and the drummer was the clincher!

.......she somehow sings with the voices of all children who suffer at the hands of adults that pervade the earth with ghastly choices.

:+1: Yeah, this is singing with hart and soul. :+1:

This is an excellent rendition of a classic in a new light. Thank you for sharing @Tinoe!
