Why I love View.ly and you should too - Tips for Minnows
I am only on Steemit two months, and I know nothing about Cyrpto or blockchain. I found steemit because I will looking for a platform that I could sell my online course for Crypto. Although Steemit does not offer this, it did offer me a way to earn crypto with my blogging content.
While on Steemit I learned about a project called Steemq. This seemed to be what I was looking for, however on trying to make contact with @furion I had no luck finding out any more.
Then, out of the blue, I heard about View.ly. It seems to be SteemQ rebranded. It’s a decentralised blockchain network like Steemit for video content creators. Awesome. I love the idea
So today I had the chance to test the new View.ly Alpha. I successfully uploaded my first video and I am happy that there has been no loss in quality and no playback problems.
Really looking forward to working with View.ly in the future. Good work guys, keep it up and keep us informed.

Is there a payment system?
Video doesn't seem to be working for me. :-(
I tried LBRY the other week, and that seemed pretty cool too. Haven't used it much yet though, but it's still in the early phase too.
I didn't like LBRY
It's not perfect, but could be improved in the future.
I've signed up to viewly but waiting for approval at the moment. :-P
Video looks AWESOME @paulag ! I think you may have stumbled into the future early and made it look like a dance! Well done. This changes things considerably and I am ever-so-grateful to have you properly demonstrate the power of this new tool. I think once the people who have moved here from Youtube make use of this in addition to OR instead of YouTube, things will REALLY take off on here. Great Job! @ecoknowme I hope @pressfortruth gets wind of this!!! Great way to control your content and ensure it stays accessible in the blockchain for the ages :)
Ok, just sorted my internet out, thought it was the site that was slow, but it was me.... Technical point, sound is a bit rough, but you were totally understandable. That said, please keep making videos and consider adopting the 'fake it til you make it' motto. You ARE an authority on here. You have been doing things online for years (nearly a decade from my calculations) and from what I have read.... you have been able to teach yourself every necessary skill required to adopt to the online landscape. you represent 10s of thousands of people and you are months ahead of most on steemit, breaking new ground with view.ly and exemplify the drive, determination and adaptability required for anyone to succeed whatever their 'thing' might be that they wish to share with the world. Tell your story. Show us what you are up to, how you do it and let us learn from your failures and your following will blossom like a spring morn. Those are my 0.002 SBD

Great video and some sound advice for newbies. Yes, View.ly is Steemq rebranded it was created by Furion. You should be able to message Furion on https://steemit.chat/ should you need to contact him.

When it moves from alpha to beta I will happily tell all fellow video content creators to use viewly. its like steemit but for video. Its awesome

Upvoted! I have only loaded videos once on YouTube and that was a few years ago. We were interviewed on Television about our work at Papillon and I posted the interviews, including the one on CNN. Never heard from Youtube again and gave it it up as a bad job!

Dublin accent and Dublin GAA jersey. Don't do soccer, that's a girls sport lol. You should look up GAA. its a real sport.
