I am a big fan of Vijay, says Priyanka Chopra

Actress Priyanka Chopra is now an international star. But, many may not know that after being crowned as Miss India World, she made her onscreen debut with a Tamil film, starring opposite Ilayathalapathy Vijay.

On Tuesday, Priyanka said she’s willing to work with Vijay again. In a Twitter conversation, a fan asked whether she’d be interested in reuniting with the Tamil superstar. Replying to the tweet, Priyanka Chopra wrote, “I would love to. I’m a big fan of Vijay.”

Meanwhile, Vijay’s latest release, Mersal, is running to packed houses in Tamil Nadu. The film, that released on Diwali, opened to terrific response from fans and has grossed Rs 150 crore at the box office. Reports also suggest that the film is expected to cross the Rs 200-crore mark.

Vijay, meanwhile, is riding high on the box office success of his latest film Mersal. The film has caused a storm in the country’s political scene after the BJP leaders took an exception to certain dialogues referring to the Modi government’s pet projects such as GST and Digital India.
