Welcome to Bangkok, the land of smiles.
Markets are prevalent all throughout Thailand.
One of the biggest markets in Bangkok is the Chatachuk Weekend Market.
Open Friday to Sunday, Chatachuk has over 8,000 stalls.
You can find a variety of items from clothing and accessories, furniture and housewares, pets, art and souvenirs.
Don't forget to bring a hat and water bottle as it gets hot.
Another major aspect of chatachuk is the selection of food available.
Without a doubt you will find something to satisfy your pallet.
Bangkok is a mecca for shopping, if there isn't a street market in the area then there will surely be a mall.
Most malls have an overwhelming amount of stores.

With 7 floors full of shopping, food, and entertainment; you can find anything you need.
Located at the nation stadium BTS stop is the MBK center.
MBK is the most diverse mall in the area.
You will find a mix of retail stores, tailor shops, and street market style stands. For all you electronic needs go straight up to the 4th floor.
Whether it be a hard drive, computer, laptop, phone or accessories; MBK is the place to get it.
You can also sign up for new phone service, get your current phone unlocked and have your cracked screen repaired within an hour.
If you are looking for a family outing. Take a trip to the Siam paragon mall.
Take in a movie in a modern stadium seating theater, go bowling, or spend some time at the state of the art aquarium.

The Grand Palace is a big attraction and a must see while in Bangkok. You can get there by taking the ferry to stop 9. Tha Chang.
Be mindful of the huge crowds which can get overwhelming.
The grand palace has beautiful temples made of golden jewels.
The detailed craftsmanship of every inch of the structures is phenomenal.
We recommend that you go early as it gets hotter throughout the day.

If you want a different level of excitement, take a trip to rajdamari stadium, home of muay thai.
Muay Thai is the Thai form of boxing and is similar to kick boxing.
The atmosphere is great, the audience chants when hits are landed and traditional music is played throughout each round orchestrating the mood of each match.
If you're lucky, you may see a knockout.
Whether you are taking the BTS sky train, a taxi, or Tuk Tuk. Traffic is always a major concern when traveling around town.
Please be cautious of your surroundings and practice always looking both ways before crossing the street.
Particularly on one way streets.
With all the wonderful things to see, we know you will enjoy your tour in Bangkok.
