MY VOCAB PRACTICE:
1. Society
As a card-carrying member of the Society for Neuroscience, Mary was required to pay her annual dues.
2. Sociable
Lilith became more and more sociable as she learned everyone's name.
3. Associate
Reginald's parents did not allow him to associate with gang members in his neighborhood.
4. Dissociate
He was forced to quickly dissociate himself with lifelong friends in favor of putting on airs.

He was sociable and liked to buy people rounds of beer in the pub.
The teenage boy began to associate with a gang of drug dealers.

I've tried for many years to completely dissociate from my body because of the trauma I've been through.

Re #4, all trauma is of the body and the mind. But, as many spiritual traditions state, you are neither your body or your mind.
I hear you. I'd like to reach that level where I can heal myself through the power of thought much like Dr. Strange did.
The arts that I do work with the spirit-mind-body and getting them connected.
