    His father was a very strict person after he returned from the war.

  2. constraint
    He felt constraint of the circumstances that were surrounding him.

  3. restrict
    After he got a bad grade at school, his parents restricted his access on the internet.

  4. strenuous
    The strenuous workout was not a good idea after he suffered a mild heart attack.

  5. astringent
    It had a fresh astringent taste, very dissolvable in water, but hardly soluble in alcohol.

  1. She has to adhere to a strict schedule and dietary regiment to remain in the national team.
  2. We must never let material constraints to hold back our rights to happiness.
