  2. intervene
    He tried to intervene between the two girls before starting to fight.

    He was intentionally interjecting the conversation to make him lose his ideas.

    During my stream, I left some chill music to be played in the background during the intermission period.

Just realised I haven't spoken to you in ages. Do you fancy meeting up at 8 on Sunday at Annie's (The same bar we met at last time)?

Hey, I just noticed this now ... 2 hours too late! These past few days, the pollution has been so bad that I tend to stay indoors.

But if it clears up a bit, I'd be glad to meet up again sometime soon. If you go to Annie's (or another venue) and you need some company, gimme a shout.

MY VOCAB PRACTICE

  1. The international women's Basketball championship will be coming up later in the year.
  2. I was called to intervene in the dispute between two of my neighbours.
  3. The little child interjected her parents conversation with her constant cry for attention .
  4. The intermission in the broadcast was for the broadcasters to refresh themselves.

  1. I haven't gone yet to any international airport.
  2. Don't ever intervene two police officers quarreling.
  3. We teach our children not to interject when we have conversation and this is not always the case.
  4. Its kinda weird when a program has no intermission number.

MY VOCAB PRACTICE

  1. The current trade war between China and the United States is likely to slow down international trade significantly and affect the livelihood of many workers worldwide.

  2. A police officer was injured when he tried to intervene in a fight between two patrons at the nightclub.

  3. The chairman interjected and steered the discussion back to the main topic when the board members lost focus during the company meeting.

  4. The competitors at the annual robotics competition re-tuned their robots during the lunch intermission.

  1. International
    The International airport received a 4 star rating, which raised it's profile standard to verry good status.
  2. Intervene
    The state security had to quickly intervene by preventing rampaging protesters from gaining entrance into the embassy and causing more damage.
  3. Interject
    During Brian court session, his defense attorney interjected twice to correct translations.
  4. Intermission
    About five minutes before intermission, the Seahawks owned a 3-1 lead.

  1. She is flying to Jakarta and will be going to the international airport to catch the flight.

  2. Two sisters were fighting in which the mom had to intervened to settle the fight between them.

  3. Their conversation were interjected by the waiter.

  4. They play an intermission at the theater before the show starts.
