RE: Vocab-ability–167 (ortho = straight, correct) – A More Powerful Vocabulary (earn UpVotes with “Vocab Practice” exercise)

in #vocab-ability6 years ago (edited)

MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  1. Orthodox:
Those who remain in orthodox ways without changing perish with the times.

  2. Orthography:
My orthography differs greatly from American or British English!

  3. Orthodontist:
The last time I saw an orthodontist was about ... hmm ... too many years ago to count.

Can we keep the cat-o-nine-tails lashes and suspension down to a bare minimum this time around?

I'll bring it up with the Disciplinary Committee. But the grammar / error situation is getting so increasingly bad that we feel that stricter control / dominance / punishment is necessary. Expect the worst!

You want a new house? Car? Twenty written books with you as the author? Done. I'll have my man take care of it. haha
