My Name is Inga & STEEMERS Please Multiply Community Healing Power and Help this Amazing Little Fighter!

in #votefunding8 years ago (edited)

I would like to introduce you to Zariah because I think STEEMIT has an amazing power of community and is ready to UPVOTE to show how we can multiply community healing power and help this amazing little Fighter!

My name is Inga and my passion is to help families with severely sick or terminally ill children by gifting them no charge family photo sessions and portraits of their babies that give them a timeless gift. I get rewarded by capturing their love for each other and the appreciation I am shown when presenting the finished captured images to the family.

Zariah is 10 months old now (6 months adjusted), she was born premature at 23rd weeks of her Mommy Noy's pregnancy. In the country where I come from (Latvia) babies this young never survive; they are not even shown to their parents for goodbye's. From where I’m from babes are discarded into medical waste and are not considered worth the resources needed to save. After meeting this beautiful baby girl in person, it makes me really sad of all of lost lives that could have been saved.

Zariah is a very special girl; she has an amazing family who has created a powerful "Zariah Strong'' movement behind her and are fighting for their baby girl's life in any way possible. They have united so many and I feel Steemit is ready to join their movement.

Zariah is a Fighter and needs everyone's help, but at the same time she has helped so many by giving the hope of love and unity, power in positive energy, strength of prayers and good vibes. The community here in Utah has come together to help her family in any way possible, such as bringing meals, doing yard work, donating vacation time so family can be together, raising money through fundraisers and GoFundMe page for Zariah Strong.

Zariah has spent most of her life at the Primary Children's hospital in Salt Lake City Utah. NICU has been her home for most her life. Last week she was medically paralyzed to be airlifted to the Nationwide Children's hospital in Columbus Ohio after Primary Children's, in Utah, could no longer provide care for Zariah. Primary Children’s encouraged her family to discontinue life support after making the mistake of releasing her to a long term care facility before she was ready and where Zariah reportedly was neglected. Nationwide Children's Hospital, in Ohio, is giving Zariah a 96% chance of success when Primary Children's gave the family a 0% chance of survival. Before the medical flight, her dad (Shawn) and mom (Noy) where married in the NICU so both of their daughters, Zariah and Raven who is 2, could be present.

Zariah's Dad Shawn and I met at the LifeTime Fitness January of 2015 at a local family sports club. Shawn was a manager at the time and I saw him there all the time, he was always smiley and with a positive attitude. Since Zariah's birth, he has left his full time job and passion to be 24h with Zariah. Shawn’s whole focus now is to provide healing and comfort to his daughter through endless hours of skin to skin contact and touch sessions; as he discovered it helped to heal her and calm down her pain.

Shawn's Facebook profile says: "I am a man who loves to spread Positivity and Love to the world" & "Works at Full Time Dad - Part Time Everything Else."

Shawn has shown the ultimate dedication and commitment to his baby girl and family. He posts daily updates on Zariah's progress and has a large follower group. He will share this post and spread the word about Steemit in return.

Let's UPVOTE and Help Zariah and her family with medical costs and progress, help to fly family back and forth from Ohio to Utah. 100% of all proceeds from UPVOTING this post will go directly to Zariah Donovan's family. I’m open to community suggestion on how to get Steem into dollars; @mranderson says we can just give them cash (picture/video with steemit shirts giving the cash), but if anyone has a better idea let us know.

I urge you to UPVOTE, SHARE and get involved in selflessly helping others! With the help of the STEEMIT community I believe we can help this family!

Zariah’s GoFundMe campaign is $6,295 of $50k goal and I know we here at STEEMIT can do a lot better; and without the “GoFundMe's fee is 5% from each donation you receive. WePay's fee is 2.9% + $0.30 per donation.”

I really hope this steemit support drive for Zariah goes through the roof and we see pictures of a truck of cash for you and your family.
