WAfrica Update: Introducing WAfrica Feedback Session

in #wafrica7 years ago

Greetings from Abuja, the capital of the most populous country in Africa. Africa's greatest resources is in Her people and that is why at WAfrica, we value the people we have in our community.

It is in light of this that the WAfrica curation team have prepared a special packaged discord program for you to voice out your concerns, complains, compliments and suggestions. I introduce to you #WAfrica-Feedback-Session On discord.

The Need For The Feedback Session

We've asked before that members of the community can reach to the WAfrica team on discord with any issue they believe is worth voicing out. But it would be impractical to always have curators at all times answering questions, so we decide to organize the feedback session where you will have team members attending to all your concerns.

What Kind Of Feedbacks Are Expected.

The feedback session is open to everyone and anyone (even to those outside Africa). If we are to serve you well, you will have to help us to serve you. So, whatever you have in mind that you believe will make the community grows is welcome. From complains, to suggestions and maybe compliments too on where we are doing well and need to hold on to it.

Where, When And How?

The WAfrica Feedback session will hold every Thursday by 20:00 GMT (8pm Ghanian/ 9pm Nigerian and Cameroonian time). The session will be hosted on our discord channel for one hour (20:00-21:00 GMT).

We'll use both the voice channel and text channel as network might sometimes not allow us use only the voice channel. So, if you are in the session and your network isn't strong enough to join us on the voice channel, simply drop your contribution as a text to the text channel and it will be attended to.

How to Participate

  • Join our discord server at https://discord.gg/AfFUhnC

  • Join #WAFRO-Hangout Voice Channel every Thursday by 20:00GMT. The first session will hold this evening.

  • Indicate in the text channel that you have a point to raise and you will be called to present by the host(s) for the day.

  • Please, mute your mic when you are not speaking (preferably use push to talk) to keep things organized and be civil when presenting your concerns.

Every point raised will be considered by the WAfrica team and if approved will be infused into our operations. They will also be prizes for active participants, So bring your friends along.

Thank you in anticipation and hope to see you here this evening.
