RE: Got Seiko?

in #watch7 years ago

Nice Seiko you got there. I had a lot of Seiko divers before, I got the SRP777 Turtle reissue, the classic SKX009 Pepsi diver, a SKX023 10 bar diver...unfortunately I sold most of them and I am on a "seller's remorse" right now. But I still got one left, a Seiko SNZG black Military field watch which I love :) Thank you for sharing this, I haven't tried their monster variants.

Thank you for stopping by. I agree! most people who sell usually find themselves buying back the seikos in the future. Seiko are great as they cater to all market segments and price entry points.
Seiko monster watches are in many collector opinions, the best value diver watch for the quality you get. Recently people are discovering that they are collectable as the watches have limited edition releases and even the regular production monsters get updated and older models have shown to increase in value on the secondary market come re-sell time. There are not many watches (even high end) that can appreciate in value, as most watches lose value as soon as it comes out the box. This is something seiko monsters can boast about.

I'll try on a monster next time :-)
