Rolex Datejust 36mm, the ultimate daily watch

in #watches6 years ago (edited)

Hi,

I am back, went to the m00n but got lost. Today we have probably the ultimate daily beater. ''What?'' you might ask, ''It's like a 8k watch''. Yes but s00n m00n, so you can effort it almost. In all seriousness, Rolex besides Patek are probably only watches that hold value really well. So it that perspective it isn't really 'that' expensive.

The 36mm with a jubilee bracelet is the way to go, in my opinion. 41mm model is way too big and the jubilee bracelet on that one sucks, it has a clasp. Seriously, what are you thinking... bet you also bought some Bitconnect! The 36mm sounds small, but in the picture a 2.05m friendly giant is wearing it. The size also makes is wearable for any situation; Popping bottles, docking yachts, eating caviar, you know the usual stuff.

Also be ready to chance your favorite days of the month to the odd days!

Overall, it just a nice steel everyday wearable watch that hold it value and gives you that stupid crown on your wrist. Normally I like the indie-brands, but can't deny, this is just sick.

Any purchase advice or reviews you want to see, please let me know. I will answer everything.

Bye,
Ron

So great to see you posting again! My brother is a Rolex guy, he has a few. They're a great watch and hold their value very well about the only brand I can think of that holds its value better is Patek Phillipe.
