Google works on the new Panic detection mode for Android
Despite the security mechanisms that Google has been implementing in the successive versions of Android, now we find out thanks to the guys from XDA developers that Google is working on the new mode of detection of panic, found this past weekend in the source code of Android 7.1 nougat and that for now is inactive series , its manual activation is necessary to be able to use it.
This new mode has not been announced yet officially although the idea is that, as has been known, is to allow users to return to the home page in those cases where they have gotten into pages or use malicious applications and have it difficult to get out of them.
Usually in these cases you usually press the backspace button several times to try to force your exit and return to the home page. Using this reflection, the new panic detection mode will allow if you press four times on the backspace button in less than three seconds in cases where malicious pages or applications are being used, the system enables the panic detection mode and allows users to return to the home page.
Thereafter, users can now have control of their mobile devices and be able to close pages or even uninstall those malicious applications that have been complicating the experience.
The new feature is likely to be still in development and may be available as standard in the new system upgrades, although for the time being you can only wait for this to happen or unless Google can provide more information about it.
