Life as a wedding decorator: St. Regis Hotel Kuala Lumpur

First of all, a big thank you for both Chris and Violet that entrusting us to be their wedding decorator in this such a wonderful place! The wedding dinner venue actually located at the city center (K.L Sentral) and the hotel name will be St. Regis Hotel.

What so special about this job?

1. We never receive a job offer for this location before. This place is grand, and beautiful. As what I check last time in google, if you wish to spend a night here for a room you need to prepare at least MYR 800. To me, that's really expensive.

2. Our new stage design! Normally I will review the job proposal before the actual day so that I can have a understanding within my mind and won't be "kalang-kabut" on site. The first thing comes to my mind was... What is this? How we suppose to do it? How are we gonna build it? Even though there are lots of question marks running around my head, but I believe we will make it nice and wonderful. The results? You can refer to the photos below.

3. Work together with new friends. Although I forget to take group photos with all my skillful comrades, but working together with them is really fun! We split our jobs evenly, when we face problem we all solve it together, and we also makan together at the road side too! (That's what you expect when you work in high standard hotels, they don't allow you to eat or even drink in the hotel!)

Overall, we took about 13 experts and 10 hours to finish this project. The moment when the boss says is done, the feeling of satisfaction is irreplaceable. No matter how tired we are, we still some how find that energy to take out our phone or camera, searching for the perfect angle and non-stop clicking! That's the fuel that keep us moving forward and better.
