At the wedding of a fellow steemian's sister

The sister of @arkintea got married yesterday and I was there. It was fun and interesting, and I enjoyed helping out with various logistics.

I seldom attend weddings and when I do, I enjoy the event, taking pictures, eating and sometimes dancing to the music on display. Yesterday was a difference. I had to be in charge of serving the drinks with some others folks and it was a pressuring task to fulfill. The reception attendees heaped pressure on us for their drinks and thanks to those who attempted collecting more than a bottle of carbonated drink and malt drink, and to those who successfully did that; as well as those who heaped pressure on us to serve them. The drama was interesting. I had to shun people, I had to enforce organization and thanks to my team, we did a great job.

It was really nice seeing @arkintea sister getting married. It would have been so pleasant if I could take some snapshots with the couple but the busy nature of my duties left no room for that.

I would love to go back to snapping pictures and dancing at weddings but now I know there are some behind the scenes giving their all to the success of a wedding ceremony under stress and immense pressure. Kudos to you if you've at anytime had to enjoy a wedding from that perspective.
I should let you know I also handled the sound at church. It's been a while handling sound and sound set ups. The sound setup at church yesterday got me off the grid and I feel like taking it on to the live concerts like it was back in time.
