Salt Flat Bridals {13 Wedding Pics}

The Moral of this Story is that even when the wind blows and the sun blinds you and it's hard to stay out in the cold... stick with it things will work out.

Let me spell that out... it's a metaphor for life... it's a metaphor for relationships.

2

Sometimes you can't take away the wind... sometimes you can't put every hair in the proper place... what you do in those moments is learn to be ok with the trials. You can't always or often control the winds of life.

I submit this couple will love these pictures all the same.

3

And then the sun dies down so you can actually open your eyes and you can face into the wind... and then take off the veil that's a bit much in the wind and hand it to the photographer who shoots kind of through it... for the effect you see above.

4

Here's the deal... looking back it seems almost calm and peaceful... but that's the metaphor for where your heart is. You faced the winds and cold and you were warm and calm.

5

To be honest it wasn't like crazy windy... just made it hard on the hair and the veil and those things can be really big deals to some people.
6

But all in all it still worked just fine... I've been in much harder circumstances.
7

What i love is that it didn't even really seem to phase them.
8

I guess it wasn't windy enough to fly a bit.
9

First time doing something like this... let me know what you think
10

Also sometimes it's just about a bit of extra height.

Anyway hope you enjoy the pics... We did these before my trip to europe and now I'm back and got them edited.

Let me know which is your favorite... always love to know and it makes me better at my job

Love it, it's different to what I usually see in wedding photography and I'll try to remember your metaphor

glad you liked it

I can't help put to look at these like they were walking barefoot on a frozen lake! :D I think numbers 10 and 11 are my faves, cool aerial shots and you can also see the mountains on the horizon. Overall, these are really amazing!

Does kinda look like a frozen lake... (specially if you were from somewhere like northern nordic europe) ... That would make them even more hardcore... alas wimpy salt and not even below freezing.

Great drone shots! So cool to incorporate drone in wedding photography - a completely new perspective!

Yeah it's in Utah... i've been to the one in Bolivia which is Way bigger!! ahha

But the one in Utah looks just as big in pics...so maybe that's all that counts? haha

2, 4, 5, 8 and 10! They're all so good! How freaking awesome

"I guess it wasn't windy enough to fly a bit." it is not like you could crash in something :D

Yeah it's only the landing that gets sketchy... but you can always use a wind block or just hope for the best as it touches down

I think the wind really made the veil look sculptural. Love it!
