Mr. & Mrs. THC / Mrs. Rivers & Her Romance With Marijuana On Her Reality TV Show
Mrs. Rivers wasn’t a major #Marijuana activist, but she was willing to go on camera to discuss her love of all things #Cannabis, and be filmed inhaling the stuff. That’s more than you can say about many celebrities, particularly ones her age.
She was not known as a shrinking violet. She hadn’t smoked #Pot since the "Dark Ages". She had admitted to #Smoking marijuana to cope with the pain of her multiple plastic surgeries. The Comedian known for her red carpet interviews at award shows, made it clear that cannabis played a key role in her life. In a 2012 interview with TMZ, she cited an all-star lineup of past smoke session partners that includes Betty White, George Carlin, Woody Allen & Bill Cosby. She said: "We Had Fun."
Given the ages of the aforementioned smoke partners, it would appear likely that weed played a role in Rivers’ Hollywood Journey from start to finish, and Probably Inspired some of her comedy along the way. So, Who Was Mrs. Rivers ?
Her full name is Joan Alexandra Molinsky (June 8, 1933 – September 4, 2014), she was known as Joan Rivers, the American celebrity was comedian, actress, writer, producer, and popular TV personality.
Her big break came in 1965: a booking on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, and her first syndicated talk show on daytime television, That Show With Joan Rivers, combined with appearances on Carson and The Ed Sullivan Show, made Rivers a household name.
She served as host of Fashion Police, which allowed her to continue to critique celebrities on the red carpet, and she had her own reality TV show Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best (2011-14).
Joan's Romance With Marijuana
In 2012, she went public with her pot use, on her reality TV show "Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best" and got completely blasted. As after she visited a medical marijuana clinic and got a prescription for pot, she got Stoned Medicated in a parked car,which she’s unable to drive and had it all filmed for her reality show.
She started out Ripping a Bong. From there, she hit a hand pipe while riding shotgun in a friend’s car. Eventually, she and her friend got Too Stoned To Drive. So they called Joan’s daughter and asked her to come pick them up.
When her daughter arrived, she got pretty much what you’d expect from trying to deal with two totally baked people. On the car ride home, the Two Smokers nagged Joan’s daughter, chanting that they wanted to stop at a food truck for some grub. The women get The Munchies and stop at a roadside food truck to get burgers and fries.
But the antics kept going, as by the time they finally got back home, Joan and her friend headed straight for the Hot Tub, with all of their clothes on.
