RE: Cooking with weed

in #weed8 years ago (edited)

Hi Mate,

I use a vaporiser called the Mighty from Storz and Bickle. I am not sure if you have heard of this thing before so i will give you a bit of detail...

Basically - I have Asthma. I have been smoking from a young age and obviously this causes me some problems. until recently (last couple of years) I had just been smoking and dealing with the bad chest but then i found out about this device!

it heats up the plants to activate the THC content. this causes it to evaporate and you can inhale and get highhhhhhhhhh

this is basically the same thing you do when you are smoking but you heat it up so much it burns and you breath in the other burnt plant matter (and tobacco if you've put some in there)

so the high is a little different, take a bit of time to settle in but when it does...... whoop!

its a great bit of kit and I have found it actually makes your bud go a lot further as you don't need nearly as much to get high.

Anyway the point of the story is that once you have vaped your bud there is actually a lot of THC left in it (depending on what temperature you go up to). You can take this weed and cook with it and actually still get really high off it in cakes or whatever else you make. This actually makes your bud go even further as you can vape it a couple of times and then bake it in a cake.

I do this pretty regularly and my girlfriend actually uses the vaped bud as she doesn't like to smoke or vape, she like to BAKE!!!

just a quick overview but i suggest checking it out, its quite expensive but there are lots of other options in the market, you just need to find one for you!

oh and sorry if you know all about this i have just gone off on one trying to explain it all!
let me know if you have any questions or what to know anything else.
Edit: I added a link to a review for the Mighty
