in #welcome8 years ago (edited)

Hello fellow Steemers,

You probably view this post because @welcomebot greeted you.

welcome-1815445_960_720.jpg

You are most likely new to steemit and still need to get the hang of things around here, but that is okay. We are a loving community and we want to see what matters to you. So to get you started and known here, I am launching a giveaway.

Post the content that matters to you and get a whalevote (a vote that is worth a lot) to directly promote your post.

Conditions:

  • Be a new user joined less than 7 days
  • Be a new user with less than 50 reputation
  • Introduced yourself to the community
  • Wrote a second post with original content about a topic that matters to you
  • Voted on the post
  • Voted on at least one other entry

If you fulfilled all these conditions, write a comment below with a link to your post and a small explanation on what you wrote and why it matters to you.

Other Steemers will then read and upvote your post and comment, based on how much they like it. And this is worth it for them too because if a whalevote hits and they voted for you, this means curator rewards.

Prices:

  • The top 3 upvoted comments on this post get a 100% whalevote (worth over $10) on their post linked here
  • 5 other comments I feel are great get a 10% whalevote on their linked post
  • All others get a warm welcome and many eyes on their first post

Please call out spam and copy pasted content! This should be a genuine thing and not a money grab. I reserve the right to ignore the votes on content I feel abuses this content for a quick gain.

A big thank you to @officialfuzzy and @jphenderson for sponsoring the whaleshares for this giveaway. Money made in this post will be used for even more whaleshares in the next giveaway!

Hey lovely people! I am really happy to be a part of this great community. I just joined today but i am speechless. I want to be a part of something big and I think I am right here...I'm looking forward to the future with steem.

here is my introduceyourself

Btw I think some of the votes on my posts are not by humans, I don't know the reason though
Feel free to exclude those votes :)

All votes are by humans, but sometimes some people like to automate their voting... :)

Oh I got it :) Thanks for upvoting my posts anyway :)

Hey guys!
Glad to be part of such an awesome group of people. I just joined yesterday and I'm already blown away with the hospitality. To get to the point. I'm a programmer and coding educator, and my goal is to pioneer the growth of the Steemit programming and IT community. I've been blogging about this field for the last 6 months, and been a teacher for over 18 months. You can check my introducemyself post to read more about me.

Edit:
Feel free to read my first article about programming here.
Sorry, forgot to mention, my reputation when posting this comment was 39.

Hey @adnanrahic,
Welcome! I am looking forward to your first post about programming 😊

Thank you! It's actually already up, right here. Hope you enjoy. :)

You're right! I already nesteemed that ^^
Put it in your top comment so people can vote on it :)

Awesome, sure thing!

Nice! Welcome!

Is the puzzel solved...lol
Sounds like a quiz to me

You mean this as a reply to someone?

Commented because we want answers

Riddle #1 : Some Fun With Flags

upvoted some posts including these here

fire_1.gif
Thereisahiddenmessageinmyfire

Just found your hidden message in the animated fire.

How? Please elaborate ^^ that is really cool @cryptoriddler!

I saved the gif and I have looked deeply into it, but not with an image viewer.

I tried .txt but that would be too easy. :D

No, that should work. Try to search 'Created by' or 'cryptoriddler in your texteditor and you should see the message just behind.
By the way, I used a hexeditor.

Hey @cryptoriddler welcome!
I made the bot yesterday so he did not greet you because you introduced yourself two days ago, sorry about that :/ But you are still fine to participate :)

thanks.
I thought I'd overlook him and looked at all my replies again in the hope to find it.

I'm definitely not good with riddles and codes, but it was cool to see the ones that had been worked out. Welcome to steemit!

Thank you.
As i began with such type of riddles, i am also not the best in solving. But i tried to solve a few, read some writeups. I got better from riddle to riddle and now i'm can generate my own riddles.

That's so awesome! I honestly could probably solve some if I made some effort to learn about them. Might be a fun homeschooling project!

Solving riddles keeps our little grey cells fit ;)

I brainiac in other ways, but I agree...use it or loose it.

Hi, I Am Berto.
I am a Theoretical Physicist and Saxophonist. I love studying Music Theory and I read about it everyday.

I have met all the conditions, I have reputation 33.
Please read my introduction here :)

My first post is on Music Theory, which I love. It's just an introductory post so you can learn about it even if you don't know how to read music. It's super fun and easy.

You can check it out here:
What is Music Theory and why should I care?

Steemit has inspired me to finally create a documented account of my life-changing trip through India. I backpacked that magical country for a month with my cousin, and have been dying to go back ever since. I'm going to create a photo-journal account of my experiences here.

I shared one of my favorite shots of a monkey on the Lakshman Jhula in Rishikesh, India. I took this photo on my second day in India. It marked my journey there, and I'm using it again to mark the beginning of a journey back to those memories - this time, along with the Steemit community.

That was nice to read :) I'm new too! voted for you

thank you! I hope to have more content soon, so follow if you're interested in India tales :)

hey you friendly person! :=)
I am trying to kill two birds with one stone by using this whale vote "competition" for my second post which I already had planned to enlighten the background of my Nickname "talaxy" which has a great value to me since 5 years. It's somehow connected to Technology and photography and helps to get an insight to me and my nickname :=) Hope you enjoy it !

Hi All!
I joined Steemit today; I'm already really impressed with the engagement and hospitality of this community!

I recently (June 2nd) quit my cushy 6-figure job as a software engineer to start my own company. I strongly believe we need to make the most out of the time we have here and live everyday. Go on that vacation, strive for that dream, take that risk; for if you don't do it, who will.

Last week I got back from a trip to Hawaii and I put together a video here: Steemit Hawaii Post

https://steemit.com/life/@rborn/3-minute-drone-recap-of-my-hawaii-trip

My main take away from the post is to stop being so busy and don't let your 9-5 define your life.

And here is my Intro Post

Hi everyone!
I'm new on Steemit, I just want to share with you my knowledge and help you to look good & be more confident ;)
