ABOUT GREEN CLIMATE WORLD 🔥💹
As the global population continues to grow exponentially, the number of people living in urban areas is growing the fastest. With over 50% of the world’s population currently living in major cities, and an anticipated 2.4 billion more over the next 30 years, the term ‘megacity’ has been created to describe the urban metropolises of the future.
Despite the relentless growth of these cities, the basic needs of their inhabitants become more acute. This includes things such as continuous energy, waste removal, transportation of people and products, and access to clean, drinkable water. Therefore, we will all be relying on technological advances that improve our quality of life by creating green, self-sustaining cities.
Green Urban Design
Green urban design and infrastructure refers to all kinds of strategically networked or standalone elements of the cityscape which have been designed for environmental benefits such as permeable surfaces and green walls or roofs. These types of green urban design can usually be achieved relatively easily by modifying existing structures or during the planning process for new constructions.
Some of the major benefits of green urban design can include improved management of storm-water, reduced heat in urban areas, and lower demand for energy. For example, green walls or vertical gardens provide thermal insulation on the sides of buildings which can help reduce heat intensity while capturing city pollutants. Green walls also create oxygen for humans while also helping return the cityscape back to nature by providing shelter for migrating birds.
Green Travel Incentives
Incentives for green travel can be put in place to reduce air pollution and energy waste by encouraging environmentally friendly modes of transport such as walking, cycling, and public transport. This rewards system strategy combines both financial discounts and other types of incentives aimed at motivating people to make travel choices that contribute to better environmental goals.
Some of the green travel incentives and rewards that have been introduced in workplaces include car-pooling schemes, increased access to video conferencing options, and subsidies for those who use public transport or cycle to work. Cities that have started trialing these types of green schemes have already had a significant impact on the willingness of urban dwellers to make choices that ultimately will help protect the environment.
Agriculture
Last but not least is the agricultural industry. Agriculture has been one of the top industries to capitalize on the advancement of drones and the opportunities they provide. With their ability to collect alternative data, create detailed 3D maps, and perform tasks in a much more cost-effective manner, the uses for drones in agriculture are numerous.
According to MIT, of the vast number of drone possibilities in agriculture, some of the biggest benefits that stand out include soil and field analysis, planting, crop spraying, monitoring, irrigation, and health assessment. New drone-related startups have created drone-planting systems that are estimated to save producers on planting costs by up to 85% because of their efficiency. In fact, the startup BioCarbon Engineering, which is working with the Worldview International Foundation in Myanmar, is supplying drones capable of planting as many as 100,000 trees in a single day. That’s an efficient process.
In addition, drones are able to report real-time information about the health and development of crops as well as record information using hyperspectral, multispectral, or thermal sensors about which areas of the property are dry and need improved irrigation. This information can then be used to make proper adjustments to ensure the highest efficiency possible and reduce waste.
What is Green Climate World?
The main goal is recording atmospheric data to the blockchain and planting trees. Through a lot of research, Green Climate World discovered that the best results are obtained by the use of a tree-planting drone.
The amount of produced oxygen and carbon dioxide will be measured by specialized atmospheric sensors that will send information directly to the blockchain. All logs will be secure on the blockchain with no possibility for any kind of tempering or erasing by anyone.
In order for our planet to have a fighting chance with global warming, we need to plant 500 billion trees every year. The traditional process of tree planting is slow and requires a lot of manual work. At Green Climate World through a lot of research, they have developed a tree-planting drone. The drone can plant up to 100 times faster than a traditional planting operation.
How Does it work?
- Keeping us accountable - Collection of data for the amounts of oxygen and carbon emitted will come from atmospheric sensors directly to the blockchain. Parameters that will be recorded by the sensors are CO2 and O2 levels, temperature, and humidity. All the sensors will be connected at all times with Wi-Fi or mobile network and will be emitting the data live.
- Green Climate Tracker Portal - The collected information will be available to the wide public. Not just our users, but everyone will be able to reach the collected information. They will have access through our website, blockchain, and mobile app.
- The process begins with the mapping of the terrain through detailed photos.
- The next step is to create a detailed scheme with the exact placement of every seed.
- The drone is programmed and loaded with biodegradable capsules.
- Each capsule contains a seed and specific nutrients that will ensure its growth in that exact location.
- A drone can fly at about 10 feet of the ground and fire the biodegradable capsule at the previously designated places.
This completes the seeding.
WHAT IS WGC TOKEN?
The core of the project is the WGC Token. The WGC token is a blockchain-based cryptocurrency and also a ledger. All logs will be secure on the blockchain with no possibility for any kind of tempering or erasing by anyone.
Tokonomics
Token Name - Green Climate World
Token Ticker - WGC
Total Supply - 1,000,000,000
Network- Binance Smart Chain
In order to reach the goal, a small percent of the value of the WGC token and put toward planting trees.
Utility of WGC Token
• Function as a currency,
• A share in the company
• Points in a loyalty program
• Proof of ownership
• Used for Rewards
Roadmap
Closing Thoughts
While blockchain technology still has a ways to go before it can realistically deliver its promises of creating a cleaner, more sustainable, and more harmonious planet, I believe we’re on the right track. There’s still hope, though. In recent years, technologies such as drones, artificial intelligence, and blockchain have emerged as a potential solution to this issue. From drones that autonomously plant seeds to AI systems that can detect sounds associated with illegal logging, technology has become an increasingly valuable tool in the fight against deforestation. While reforestation alone probably won’t be enough to reverse the effects of climate change, it may be worth pursuing as a complement to other strategies and could move us closer to reaching that goal.. One of the most important parts of our project Green Climate World is restoring the oxygen levels in our atmosphere. The simplest way to accomplish this mission is by planting trees. This is why Green Climate World will provide a tree-planting drone and ensure that every planting expedition is effective and efficient.
