INTRODUCTION

Stepping into the forest, the stress of a busy day melts away. Apart from silence and peace, forests are actually alive with activity: like a beating heart, they work day and night for life on our planet to survive. From stabilizing the climate to protecting wildlife and providing us with clean water, we all need forests – and now they need us.

Since civilization began, we have lost 46% of all trees on Earth. In the last 20 years, an area larger than Peru has been deforested. But when we knock them to the ground, it's more than just a tree that we lose. This is why we need our forests – and why at the South Pole, we are committed to protecting and strengthening this vital ecosystem:

1. Forests keep Earth cool

Forests help regulate global climate temperatures by absorbing and storing carbon – in other words they act as giant sinks of CO2 emissions, the greenhouse gas that drives global warming. Trees lock carbon to death: most of it is stored in the trunk, branches and leaves, but did you know 20% is stored underground in the roots?

Protecting and fortifying healthy forests is one solution that can help us reduce atmospheric CO2 levels and limit the average global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius, as outlined by the Paris Agreement and the 2018 IPCC Special Report .

2. Society depends on them

Globally, 1.6 billion people depend on forests for their livelihoods and well-being. In fact, forests can help alleviate poverty, one in 11 people are lifted out of extreme poverty because of access to forest resources. They also help empower women and support indigenous peoples by: providing them with important resources; sustainable livelihoods from agroforestry; provide them with homes either in or around protected forests; and generate income from financed forest carbon projects.
Parks and green spaces are key assets to support healthy environments and healthy communities. Urban population growth is often associated with declining air and water quality and other social problems. Investing into green shared spaces has never been more urgent. Supporting the Park Planting Project Green climate world directly facilitates the development of major regional parks that provide open spaces to support active and healthy lifestyles for all Humans

Trees will provide a myriad of environmental, social and human health benefits while ensuring public spaces remain alive and welcoming for all. As they grow, trees capture and store planet-warming carbon dioxide, earning certified carbon credits. This project will provide benefits at the local level through a national program aimed at addressing global problems!

Through many studies, we at Green Climate World have found that the best results are obtained using tree planting drones.
Drones can plant up to 100 times faster than traditional tree planting operations. This is why we at Green Climate World will provide tree planting drones and ensure that every planting expedition is effective and efficient.

The Core Token of this project is the WGC Token. The WGC token is a blockchain-based cryptocurrency as well as a ledger. All logs will be safe on the blockchain with no possibility for any kind of tempering or deletion by anyone.
