Got to protect your investment from the competition. Plain and simple.

Or protect people from shitcoins run by scammy trash....take your pick...

Not to worry. I expected this ;)

One person is behind the 8 accounts which flagged this post and he has perfectly demonstrated one of the problems on steem.

Lovely to see you again!

Expressing my freedom of speech by downvoting your post is a problem?

Good to know you hate freedom.

The word problem is subjective, like good and bad. So, the problem I describe is difficult to see from your perspective.

Unlike you I don't have lots of money and rely on this platform to buy food for my family.

Of course I don't hate freedom. I came here to find it. But am I really free if you have the power to physically take away ALL my rewards from a post I just spent a week working on because I wrote something you didn't like?

I'm not sure you understand the concept of freedom.

Perhaps not. I understand however that within this particular arena those with money have the power to dictate who makes money and who doesn't. And that doesn't feel like freedom to me.

This is certainly an interesting topic for discussion and your presence on steem has undeniably helped us examine it.

I would be curious to see what happened if flags didn't equate to depletion of payout. Why should anyone have the power to take away another person's money?

It’s not your money until it’s paid out to you.

Buy a clue.

Semantics. Why should anyone have the power to take away another person's potential pay-out?

No, it's not fucking semantics. It's how this blockchain works, and if you don't like it or don't understand it (which you obviously don't) you shouldn't be here whining about it.

We have that ability because of people like you who feel they should be rewarded for posting trash. This is a prime example of when flagging is appropriate and useful.
