Soft boiled eggs the Japanese style. 溏心蛋

Lunch ! Join me for a simple lunch, anyone ?

When was the last time you boil an egg to the way you wanted it. do you like well cook ? 3/4 cook or half cook ? Then do you get the desired result ever time you boil the egg ? Well, I do not refer of you if you are a chef. I ask those whoare not a professional chef but regular home women or man.

What do I called simple lunch ? Well, i started with a soft boiled egg - Japanese style (溏心蛋) 。You can see from the picture how the soft boiled egg look like. The egg white is soft but tough enough to still hold the eggyork in one piece. While the eggyork is semi cook while the egg york still in its liquid form. It is called the Japanese style of soft boiled egg (溏心蛋). However, I did not get this perfectly boiled egg in Japanese style every time but this time is perfect.

I eat the egg followed by my lunch proper which is a bowl of simple rice with chicken braised with bitter gourd.
That is my lunch for today.
