You are so right on the hardest climb with the nicest view.
I remembered the first time when I climbed one of the hills in Peninsular (I suddenly can't remember the name) which was my very first experience climbing it at 4am in the morning, resulting almost losing my breath but was totally amazed with the beauty of the view at the top. That was something worth remembering, and reminding great views do require hard work!
