Windows 10 (2004) is almost ready for mass deployment: it has already appeared in WSUS
Windows 10 version 2004 is expected to be launched for all users as early as April-May. But the update is currently available to all insiders through Windows Server Update Services (WSUS). As expected, the new "ten" will also appear in companies that have added support for Windows Pre-Release WSUS.
Thus, the update is almost ready, it remains only to add the finishing touches. ISO images of the system are already available for insiders, although the deployment of the update in the Release Preview ring is still ahead, which is the last test step before a full release.
The development phase of Windows 10 version 2004 ended in December, and now Microsoft is testing it to make sure there are no errors. As expected, this update will be a lot of new, although it will mainly be improvements to existing features.
For example, a new search algorithm is promised that reduces the consumption of system resources when indexing files. Also, the search process itself will become more intelligent. In addition, there will be changes in the "Task Manager" and other aspects of the system, Cortana's voice assistant as a separate application, and GPU temperature monitoring.
Recall that earlier, Microsoft deprived older versions of the “dozens” of support for the Cortana voice assistant. He will also be removed from the company’s Android launcher.
