Drawing process and progress

So I made some progress on this drawing. I made the hair parts a big blob of green colour. You can assume that he has big furry looking hair.

But the colour of the hair is green. I made the red part of his face a little bit darker. I will make the top part lighter than the bottom part that way I will be able to define proper shape of the head and face.

Do you see that weird shape on his forehead? I am thinking that will be some kind of an ornament that he wears in his head. I will try to make that look Shiny. In order to do that I will have to make surrounding darker than that. That is how you make something look shining
