How To Harness Your Potential Speed. (Life/Business)
In my last post, I talked about actual speed versus potential speed, putting perspective on what they are and giving some examples. You can read it here: https://steemit.com/business/@youngkedar98/actual-speed-vs-potential-speed-in-life-and-business
This will be a continuation of the last post. I'll be writing about how to harness your potential speed in life and business.
Let's begin.
¤ IT ALL BEGINS WITH YOUR MINDSET
Many people know that they can do more. They are better than their current version of themselves. They know they have what it takes to get the life they want. However, it just stays there because no willpower equals to no achievement. Are lions the strongest or the biggest or even the wisest in the jungle? No, they're not and yet they are called the king of the jungle. It's because of the boldness, audacity and attitude they have.
Your mindset determines your attitude and your attitude shapes your life. You have to change your perspective and build the right mindset. Believe that it's possible to get the life of your dreams. Believe that with effort and the right strategy, you will get there. Read books about personal growth and stick to things that make sense to you. With consistency, you'll start seeing your actual speed catching up with your potential speed.
¤ TALENT AND HARDWORK
"Hardwork beats talent when talent refuses to work hard."
Do you know who said that quote? I don't but it's damn true! Society is full of talented people. People who are genuises in Arts, Maths, Science, Technology, Sports etc. Sadly, the world doesn't hear about them because they're buried deep under the rubble. Most people are talented, you talk to them or you watch them perform and you're mesmerized by their gift. The problem is talent can't get you far in this world we live in. You have to marry it with hardwork.
Talent is what is easy or you enjoy doing. You love arts and enjoy drawing? Then you're talented in art drawing. You're fascinated by mathematics and enjoy solving equations? Then you're talented in maths. You like tech and enjoy talking or reviewing tech things, then you're talented in tech.
What's your talent?
Once you figure out your talent, put in the hardwork to fine tune your talent. Your talent is like crude oil. When you put it into the machine (hardwork) and grind it for a sufficient number of time you'll get refined oil (hardwork X talent).
Elon Musk - hardwork x talent
Kobe Bryant - hardwork
Lionel Messi - talent
Tom Brady - hardwork
Albert Einstein - talent
Michael Jordan - hardwork x talent
Justin Bieber - talent
Idris Elba - hardwork
Sylvester Stallon - hardwork
Christiano Ronaldo - hardwork x talent
You see, you can be great with hardwork. You can also be great with talent. However, You can be the one of the G.O.A.Ts with Hardwork X Talent. Your choice?
