I have always wondered why steemit shows so many inactive witnesses in the top 100.
Steemian.info does the same but shows enough information to to make a decision.
Do you know why the skip feature was disabled?

At least they are now showing 100, it used to be only 50...

Sure, 24 hours might be a bit harsh. Especially since replaying or trouble shooting can take a long time. But after a month of inactivity we could probably consider a witness out of service.
