I was about to work a post to @good-karma regarding the heavy data usage of the app like compression for the images because the app drains my data like no other app. I hope to notice the improvements on this area because the app is great but in my country mobile data is very expensive. Thanks for the update.
Hi @epico, Did you know we now have Bandwidth/Traffic saver feature?
You can go to Settings page and disable
Fetch imagesand app will save mobile data. It will not download post images when you open any post, you can manually tap on image to download it. It should save a lot of your traffic and gives you possibility to save your data usage. Check it out and let me know how it works...I'll go change the settings right now. Any compression for images thought for future updates?
I have some thoughts on Compression for images, still nothing significant to implement it. But it is on my todo list, will keep in mind to improve this area ;)
