Steem Backup Data Server has migrated from Dacentec to WasabisteemCreated with Sketch.

Steem Backup Data Server was always using Dacentec 's cheap big storage dedicated server in past.

A 4-cores CPU/8GB RAM/22TB+41TB Disk dedicated server just costs $150/semi-annually.

They use old hard disks and old servers. That's why they could keep server fee cheap.

The biggest problem with old hard drives is the high failure rate even I have setup a RAID group.

I have to spend more time on watching the healthy of the backup service.

So I decide to migrate the service to Wasabi, a cloud storage service provider.

Wasabi only sells storage space. It has a very low fee for storage and free for transfering data. Free data exchange is what attracts me the most.

I will do backup tasks on my home server and then upload the backup data to Wasabi.

After the migration, the worst thing is that my home server has only 30Mbps upload bandwidth. :(

Anyway this is a new trip.

Any issue when using, feel free to DM me.
