RE: Jerry Banfield sold his witness account and is now producing

in #witness6 years ago

My buddy told me a long time ago that Jerry worked for a company at one time and had access to the companies money. He used it to invest in the crypto space and apparently he lost the companies money. I couldn't verify if this is true or not.

Not sure how accurate it is but here is the Jerry Banfield linkedin page.

Hmmm not much there it didn't seem. Maybe someone else knows how to deep dive a supposed ex IRS workers criminal records.😄

Didn't he work for the IRS?

I don't know the guy and never followed his content. My friend knew about him before he got on Steem. When I tried to search for content on him I didn't come up with anything back when he first joined Steem.

Someone I know looked him up on LinkedIn. He was something between a failed mall cop and a government worker. I think it was IRS but it could've been those census takers.

Well here is his biography.

He wrote a war and peace sized novel about himself.

Personally I don't think it was long enough. Lol

He was a police officer for a bit.

He was a cop? Holy shit talk about life imitating comedy.

Hey! I like that show! Lol

AH :))))) Nooooo

I can confirm this. I just found his biography for what it's worth. I scrolled through a large portion trying to find what I mentioned but it's extremely long.

I bet that was fascinating - did he talk about his hobby of sucking his own dick? (really, I'm not kidding here, he did a video about it)

Maybe I didn't get to that part. Lol

@pwny
Apparently this "Jerry Banfield" is not the most popular guy on the block anymore, but maybe we should stick to firsthand info? (makes us who are "pro-steemit" look like we have the "moral high ground" etc etc)... =)

Yeah I do not know him personally. He has since given his account away and now someone else is running it for him which is strange. I'm not trying to do a deep dive on him just dropping my 2 cents.

Well, lets hope things don't get any worse.

I sometimes thought this Jerry Banfield looked a bit like an advanced cgi computer animation or something, and his "bidding-bot" was not always very profitable...

Other then that I know nothing about the guy, I think it was in one of his videos on youtube (amongst other random videos and blogs) it was at least one of the first times I heard about steem/steemit and how you could mine crypto by blogging here (from Jerry Banfield... But I could remember wrong, it happens)...

Some of the comments on this post say jrswab (who took over the account) is a good guy. I dont use bid bots anymore. Only a curation trail. If I was going to use a bid bot I would use @crypto&custard or steemsmart.

Okay, yeah I saw that, just checking the video where Jerry Banfield is concluding how much money he made on steemit, he is not really slandering steemit or anything so far in the video, he is just saying he is grateful, but is now leaving, etc etc, he looks like someone who has gotten sick of a job and is leaving because he is fed up... But I have to watch the whole video... Okay, now he is kind of being openly critical, but its in his right, he just dosen't like crypto anymore...

About bidding bots:
I tried sneaky-ninja on my last post and got a result that probably will lead to a decent ROI, but other then that there is not that many bots that have worked very well, (unfortunately delivered a very low ROI or a negative result)...

This was the video I was watching:
