To get our vote for witness, here is what the witness needs to do:
1) Get SBD or STEEM listed on a major exchange
2) Provide proof that you were instrumental in the exchange listing of STEEM or SBD

If anyone else wants to promise their Witness vote, please leave in the comment below that you will promise to use one of your witness votes on the witness that gets the job done. This vote is different from your normal vote and does not cost you anything in voting power or your rewards. It is essentially voting for your leaders. I will periodically blog the status and the total list of people that will be willing to vote the Witness that gets STEEM or SBD on a major exchange. I will also provide the total Vests reward for the Witness.
Once we have a witness that accomplishes this challenge, I will send out a reminder notice to all people that have made the promised to go ahead and vote.
Please join me to get the witness reward bounty high enough to influence a witness to get STEEM on a major exchange. Combined with ours, your vote matters and can make a difference. Casting your witness vote does not affect your earnings on Steemit or any other platform. It is also reversible.
Witnesses:
The STEEM and SBD wallets on HitBTC and Poloniex have been frozen since the end of January. If you are instrumental in fixing the wallet issue with either of those exchanges, the witness bounty above will go to you. You will have to provide proof that you were the one that got the issue fixed.
Even though my vote is not worth that much, around 410sp, I know that it all adds up so... count me in on the list of people that would be giving a witness vote to anyone that helps out in getting is listed and specially to anyone that helps fix the hitbtc/poliniex issue.

That is a significant amount of SP especially when STEEM and SBD become available everywhere. When that happens, the price will go up and your SP will be worth more. This is one of the reasons the effort to get STEEM and SBD on as many exchanges as possible is important.
Even if the amount was very small, the witnesses want more of those voters anyway. The reason is the vote is reversible. It is not like an election where the politician gets to hold the position for a number of years. Here, the individual can take the vote back at any time. For this reason, a witness prefers to have 10,000 minnow votes instead of 1 whale vote. A whale can change his/her mind and remove the vote. This will cause the witness to significantly lose rank. With 10,000 minnow votes, this wouldn't happen.
