I Sing
Zhang Shuming
I Sing
From my childhood wish
Who has evil intentions and who laughs and mocks
I sing, I sing
There are stars in the sky, there is a moon, there is a sun
There are flowers and grass on the ground, and fish and waves in the earth
Birds and beasts, ants and insects
I sing, I sing, my heart roars like a stallion
From the morning of spring
To the midday of summer
In the autumn when the earth is dotted with gold
Winter gives birth to the pure fairy tale that rises
The dawn is always approaching the evening, and the sunset colors a snow-covered forest.

I sing of every moment and every minute of labor

The purple star shines high
A crescent moon smiling
The Mona Lisa shines in a strange smile
Julien Sohail gasps in the mud where red and black mingle
Poetry and truth just happen to be written in the rising waves of Goethe's Romantic
From the countryside to the city
From illiteracy to doctorate
From the forest to the Gobi
I sing
I sing about the desire to live, the desire to love, the desire to hate
Life is fermenting
Desire expands

I sing of health and strength
I sing of simplicity and sincerity
I sing about men, women, children and the elderly
I sing of trees and grasses and thunder and lightning and wind
I sing about the dusty Great Wall, the pyramids, the terracotta warriors, the sphinxes
I sing about the inventions of Apollo Prometheus
I sing about the masculinity of men and the femininity of women
I sing of the earthworm's hard work turning the soil
I sing about the bees making honey
I sing that from the first day to the thirtieth day
From January to December
From the minute to the century, the light year, the end of the world
Weeping, laughing, warming, shivering
Sowing and reaping, these are the objects of my song
Sometimes happy, sometimes sad, sometimes angry.
Singing of sunrise and sunset
Singing of the rising and setting of the moon
Singing of convergence and separation
Singing of heaven and hell
Singing the sunrise and the sunset
Singing of glory and humiliation

Sing of joy, sing of loneliness, sing of weak winds, sing of violent rains, sing of noisy markets
Singing the crushing and mixing of their blood, tears and flesh
Sing the nightmares and demonic spirits sneaking into my dreams
Sing the music of the future
Singing of sorrow and anger because of the fickleness of the present

I sing, I sing
Listen to it...
This song is more powerful than the song of life and death
