And so the cannibalism begins
Pull up chair for the war of the woke.
It's been a long time coming, this postmodern philosophical harvest of "truth is relative" twaddle.
Released from the moorings of any form of absolute truth, our postmodern world slopps backwards and forwards on every whim and fancy.
Such unrestrained freedom brings in its wake unintended consequences. Tethers and anchors keep things together. Tents stay upright, kites fly higher and ships survive storms.
Our millennials, raised on "everyone's a winner" deceit, can't comprehend that life and history has alway had more losers than winners. Their binary world view can't encompass the slightest degree of complexity. Their cotton wool protected lives have produced snowflake temperaments that enrage themselves the moment they leave their safe spaces and insulated, sanitised comfort zones of simplicity.
These ignoramuses of reality and history are easily manipulated and those with ulterior motives and big checkbooks have been having a great time. Every good cause has been rapidly turned into brisk trade as corporations greenify and virtue signal their way to record high share prices.
But it's tough at the top once everyone is woke. How do you differentiate yourself then to the fawning millennial minion credit cards?
That is when corporate cannibalism starts as multinational empires try to out woke each other. The woke have always formed gangs to hunt in packs. Why should the woke corporate world be any different? Observe Coke et al vs Facebook. Impressive results on share price and turnaround. A rather effective blunt instrument indeed.
