How the Women Are Working At Women Empowerment Part-2

in #women7 years ago (edited)

Dear Supporters of Women Empowerment,

Yesterday ( 19 February, Monday 2018) we had our second class of @WomenEmpowerment at @SchoolForSDG4 . We have had a good day over all with our trainees. Women Empowerment was founded by Mohammed Abdul Aziz ( @AzizBD ) in 7 January, 2017 to facilitate local underprivileged women so they can get handicraft training for free and also can empower them by working with our social business.

We want to facilitate around than 10 trainees in our first batch at @SchoolForSDG4 campus. We will try to support up to 10 women for first 6 months. And when they will get enough skill, we will recruit few of them for as employee as full time employees. It will depends on our business idea and investment opportunities to start a garments.

We will work to share our products on peerhub.com so we can accept Steem or SBD instead of USD. We will also try to sell inside and outside Bangladesh.

Yesterday, they learned how to make shirt button. They tried themselves with help of our expert trainers.

Hi @womenempowerment,

It seems you got a $8.3143 upvote from @canadian-coconut at the last minute before the payout. (23.42h) and this comment is to make everyone aware.

Please follow @abusereports for additional reports of reward pool abuse. Thank you.

Thank you for your comment. It was nothing wrong between @canadian-coconut and @WomenEmpowerment . She curate posts manually. It is just a miracle or rare case of upvote by her at last minute. So please consider a simple research before publish as abuse. But thank you for following and helping us to know who are abusing on steemit. Love and peace.

Great job, @womenempowerment! It is so nice to see a culture that helps those who need it, and women are so often abused or overlooked in many societies. I hope the women are happy, healthy, and able to support themselves fully by learning what you teach them.

Thank you very much @crystalize . I personally have not enough experience on craft or textiles . I have just wish to see the women can support their families and specially can take care of their kids and continue their education from their earning. As @SchoolForSDG4 will not able to support kids after the certain level , so i am trying to empower the mothers. It will help mothers to continue everything by themselves. But God is best helper of course. I have just wish and ability to facilitate them .

Good job@womenempowerment

This is really amazing to see! I proudly support what you are doing and many blessings to the @womenempowerment movement! It’s so good to hear you are getting a lot of support and donations coming in. Thank you for keeping us in the know about the projects these mothers are doing. I really hope this will empower them to be able to support their children! God Bless you @azizbd!

I love that you're going to set up shop to sell their works on the blockchain! Having someplace to sell is important, too.
I do buttonholes by hand, also. Time consuming work! Good job, ladies!

Buttonholes are very tricky, I remember learning how to do them. Well done to your students!
