BEAUTY AND MADNESS

I cannot totally comprehend,
Of the irony of this perilous situation.
The thing we considered beauty,
Was made for our destruction.

The beauty we see in our bare eyes,
Is a treacherous illusion,
That tempts us to venture these vice,
And provokes the curiosity of innocence.

Its mere comfort you truly desire,
Is a deception and a destroyer.
You become poor, virtual prisoner
Who can't free from vice's cold chains.

The luxury you embraced,
Is menacing to you, I fret.
The passion replaced by depression
And enumeration of quiet regrets.

We hurt ourselves too much
Because of too much obsession
Of supposedly beautiful things
Blinded of worldly temptations.

And even before your eyes,
Your dreams were swept away.
Traces of broken debris are left
Bleeding wounds of crimson red.

It seems hard at beginning,
To gradually leave the addiction,
Of the pleasant vices bringing,
That was a beauty in oblivion.

Please promise me, To allow
Your forlorn countenance to cry.
Have my shoulder to lean on.
All ears I will listen as your confidant.

It's fine either way.
For after the heavy rain
There will always be rainbow
A rainbow connected to freedom:
Freedom from beauty and madness.
