If you are using woocommerce for your e-commerce website, you may have noticed creating specs tables in Woocommerce is a disaster, You'll need to define specs as variable attributes one by one and for each product, tough they are not even built for this purpose, but this is your only option.

Imagine you have a website selling digital products like mobile phones or laptops or computer parts or whatever products that your customers need to know about their specifications. 

Lack of this feature in Woocommerce made me start writing a plugin. so i ended up creating Product Specifications plugin which you can painlessly create specification tables for different types of products, group specifications, re-order them, and more..

Creating Specification tables in Woocommerce

First off, go to plugin's page and download the plugin or install it from your wp-admin dashboard, Once you activate the plugin a menu like this will be added to your dashboard :

If i go through a step-by-step exampled ( specs table for a smartphone )  guide i would say :

1. first create some groups, and by groups i mean attribute groups.  ( eg. : "Network", "Cameras", "Hardware", "Software" )
2. then add attributes to the group(s) you've created. ( eg. : "ram", "cpu", "gpu" as attributes of group "hardware" and so on... )
3. Now you have a set of grouped attributes, create a new table ( eg.: "smartphone table" ) and the attributes you've created to it.
4. Now You have a spec table to fill each time you want to add or edit a product

This Plugin currently supports these types of attributes :

• Simple text
• Textarea 
• Radio buttons
• Selectboxes
• True/false
