6 Rules Of Team Management

in #work7 years ago (edited)

We live in a world which are combined with a mass variety of groups of people. Two people together we call it a couple two couple's together we call it a group a massive group together we call a country and a country together we call it a world.

Now as you may see this world where we live in are divided into individual groups of people. It is a philosophy that inorder to manage these people by governing is to have a "social rule" which we know as a "law" and inorder to make a social rule active we enforce the law for a social well being.

Human's are social animals and we tend to bond with one another by communicating. We often to communicate through language and the use of technology. In the past inorder for us to do something can be inconvenient but now it is just a tip of the finger away with the use of smartphone.

Here Are The 6 Rules Of Team Management

1. Select A Trust Worthy Colleague
When you have been assigned to do an individual task or to take responsibility on a project. Surely an achievement cannot be successful alone. Many successful people have their good men backing up their creative thoughts and ideas.
Napoloen Hill in his book of Think And Grow Rich he talks about The Master Mind Group these are the groups of people who you should spend time the most. The people you have earned credibility and trust among them also a master minded person will know your vision, know what is good or bad for you, know what is right or wrong within the team. A failed project can be easily fixed but a failed team will never create any project. You must create a strong trust among your colleagues. Trust them as much as they trust you.

2. Know When To Move Back Know When To Move Forward This rule is important. You do not want to put yourself into the wrong spot and realize it is too late to turn back. In Sun Tzu: The Art of War book Master Tzu wrote "Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win." What Master Tzu is trying to say is you must win without getting yourself into the fight. You must apply a lot of strategical minds into your planning. Sometimes inorder to win the game is not by playing it.

3. Listen Listen And Listen
Take a step back for a little bit. While you seem to be very interested in giving other people your opinions do not forget that they may have something to argue or something to suggest or to agree on. You might not even notice that sometimes being a good listener will help you to understand the core of the details as well. While other people are giving their opinions try not to interrupt hold your thoughts back for a bit, let them finish and be patient they might have something important which you do not want to be responsible for not listening to it.

4. Put The Right Person Into The Right Job
Every person has their own ability to be capable of something. Holding an administrative position sometimes can get very tricky when it come's to assigning or appointing someone to take responsibily on something. His Excellency Dr. Thaksin Shinawatra Former Prime Minister of Thailand once said that "Being a leader you don't need to know how to do everything but being a leader you must know how to understand everything like a bird and a fish you don't need to swim well like a fish but you must be a bird that flies over and see everything."

5. Being A Good Communicator Both Leader And Follower
In terms of communication can be one of the most important factor of all. I hold the thought that "Understanding what we think is hard but getting someone to understand what we think is even harder." Practice rehearsing or speak to yourself in front of the mirror frequently for clairification in terms of verbal use of communications. Remember that whenever we appoint someone for the task and he or she does not understand blame yourself first! you must gain an understanding that each person's level of understanding something is different. You cannot set a high standard for newcomers or expecting a high level of expectation from someone who is new to the job. Go easy and be calm use logics more than feelings.

6. Carry Out Orders Effectively And Efficiently
Any order can be effective or not depends on the liability on your teammates that should this order be effective or not. The credibility on the leader will have a sub-effect on their orders that he or she has given. If the majority thinks that this person is not eligible or incapable to hold an administrative position he or she is likely to end up by losing the authority and credibility among the teammates which will cause the team to lose the efficiency in carrying out their projects as well.

These are just the mini version of the management rules. I hope it was helpful and beneficial ! Please tell me the feedbacks and how did it go after you have tried to apply them to your team. Hope you enjoy working !!
