When I was first exposed to these voluntarism, libertarian, anarchist ideas was a long lecture by J. Stuart Snelson, named the V-50 Lectures. Have you heard of it?
It was very much a "fundamentals" lecture and really impacted me in a way I have never seen force and voluntary relationships in the same lenses.
It explained the stupidity and motivation of rulers to its core. Something that stuck with me is when he said "we now have the technology in the physical sciences to destroy ourselves. yet we do not have the techonology in the social sciences to save ourselves."

Lol, yes, the system perpetuates itself, or dies.
Most of the ideas we hold dear were put into us as children and were not always correct.
