3 jobs, college, and a sick dog... Multitasking again and I don't like it!

in #work5 years ago (edited)

Hello my dear Steemians :)

I was quite shocked today when I found out that I've written my last post 8 days ago. I was stunned how fast the time flew and how much did I lost. Well, there is a good reason for that. From the last post I got one more job so now, I have 3 jobs. I cannot really explain how badly I need more hours in a day.

I am a designer and at this time I am designing a 120 pages book for a Lastovo island. The second job is a waiter job in Westin hotel in Zagreb which I am doing because I need to gather some money for the summer since I worked 7 MONTHS at a design/programming company and they didn't want to pay me anything at the end (after staying for 11 hours at my office). And the third job is helping my mother's friend to move out and to sell her furniture through some apps and social networks.

So, I am trying to plan some normal schedule but I don't know how. Sometimes I have 2 shifts on the same day at the hotel and sometimes I work for 10 hours straight. After the hotel job, I get home and start to design the Lastovo book whenever I have the energy. During the weekend, except hotel job, I move my mother's friend stuff from her apartment in her new one and at the same time I'm trying to sell her furniture. It seems impossible to do something for myself.

You know I love to cook but for the last week and a half I really don't have the energy for anything so my meals look like this. Simple and.... well simple.

Sometimes I have my lunch and my dinner at the hotel if I don't have any energy left in my body. I love to eat there and I am so grateful to them for not letting me work hungry. My work meals look so much richer and various when compared to my home meals. I think it is because I have so much more dishes there than at my home and they are already prepared so I enjoyed it at the fullest.

I hope you know that you have to take care of your diet especially when you are working physically!! I think I would be sick if I didn't ate as much as I do now while working this exhausting job

With lots of fruits :)

One day I eat fish and the other, well, meat :)

I also wanted to say that my dog is ok. For you who don't know, crazy Jack Russell jumped from the 4.5 m high window chasing the crow and she fell and broke her pelvis. Fortunately, my ex-boyfriend watches her when I'm at my job. The situation is not very good for me but I care about her little bit more than for myself so it is ok. If there are dog owners here, please tell me for how long is she going to be in a pain. She is better and better but she whines (what is the word??) whenever she wants to jump somewhere so I don't let her.

Here is my beautiful. I love her so much guys!!

In my next post I want to share my flaxseed tortilla recipe. I discovered it on YT 2 months ago but didn't have the time to do it. When I had some spare time I cooked it and then didn't have the time to write about it. What a life...

It is super easy and you need only flaxseed, salt, and water to make it so it is a very cheap bread substitute. Here is a teaser picture for you hehehhee

I have to end here because I have a night shift today and I want to prepare my uniform and myself for night work. I will write to you soon and I won't let 8 days go by so easily again. I feel happy about writing this recipe for you so I want it to be as soon as possible but it all depends on my work schedule which I know only several days in advance.

I hope you understand my absence and I want you to know that Steemit community gives back maybe a bit more than I deserved and I am so grateful for that. Everyone, thank you so much and I can't wait for the season to start so I can be here every day. I want to be here every day... I want to make some impact and I want to inspire just as you do inspire me.

Steem on to the moon! Cheers :)

ohh you were programming ? what are you program? and which languages do you use ?

I was there as a designer but I tried to do some C++ and Java. Also, I would like to learn a bit more about Maya because I want to do some 3D work but I don't know when. In general I design some project then send it to my programmers to make it "alive" in the digital world. Something like that.

Thanky for your question :) Cheers!

Great, I learned java too I knew all the basics and then I went to learn MYSQL to design databases then I will return to java to integrate the database with java program, besides learning MYSQL I'm learning HTML and CSS too
